the best things in life aren’t things

Lola is a retriever-not a terrier I have realized.  It is funny what a few days at Grandma’s house will do….   I swear since we have been taking her over to my parents everyday- she is different.  Gah she is so funny.  I wish I could describe the things she does but it’s like she is talking.  Okay Megan- I will stop now. 

I need to get her a new "baby" for christmas, the ones she has a SO filthy.  She mouths them but only rips up their ears…  Washing them does nothing.  Here is a picture of my little p-nut playing with daddy-notice Molly has her own bone and could care LESS:

Yes, I am a football widow.  I like football, but I really like to watch it in person.  There is not a single game that I would change my plans for the day to watch a game.  I can (and will) watch the highlights later.  I have no idea how people can watch football for three days straight.  But that’s just me.  I have stuff to do!  Haha and when we aren’t watching football we are listening to it in the car. :::shootme:::

I have no idea who is more excited about the baby, Greg or I!!

Greg has been refering to the baby as a boy, so now I am thinking it is a boy!  It is so much fun not to know!  We have already picked out the name for our next baby haha, and it could be a boy or girls name….  so funny.  I have loved the name FOREVER-I never thought Greg would go for it, but he loves it too!  Not telling name #2 until we have baby number 1!  Don’t want to get to ahead of ourselves! 

It is a little harder to get comfortable now.  We went for a walk last night, and I seriously and putting Molly in a stroller tonight, she hurt her foot and has been limping!! haha but we go after dark so no one sees us!   If I can remember I will try to take a picture!

It’s Saturday morning here about 8:30 AM and Greg has run to Home Depot.  I barely slept last night (CAN’T GET COMFY!) and went to the bathroom 4 times!! haha  I’m just glad I make it and don’t DREAM I am already in the bathroom…. ahhh that would suck.

Yesterday we went to Home Depot and Walmart after work.  We picked up some paint and other household stuff (paper towels, laundry soap, TP…etc)  .  Greg said what we spent at Walmart could have bought him a bike and I told him he would have had to wipe his butt with his bike…. haha had to share i thought I was funny.   We came home and got right to painting.  It only took a few hours and I realized we CAN paint, we just can’t paint anything that isn’t four square walls with 8 foot ceilings!  Greg let me help, but only like this:

Saturday we attempted to put up crown molding… HA  that is really hard.  Gramps is coming over Sunday morning to help!

Saturday night we went to Lance and Desiree’s to eat dinner and we had a really nice chat around the outdoor fire.  The weather here is PERFECT… I can’t wait for cold weather!!!! 

Finally…..  This week has drrrraaagggedd on.  We have not had court all week, which is a nice break and a chance to catch up.  The only bad thing is there is not a lot of movement and interaction with other people. 

They are working on the courtroom above our office and have been for…. maybe 2 months!?!!  They are unusally noisy today.  Hopefully they will quit soon it is soooo annoying!

According to the doctor yesterday I have gained the right amount of weight and my blood pressure was really low (100/66)  I laughed and told the midwife next appointment it will be through the roof!  Taking blood makes me bonkers.  She said the doc reviewed the ultrasound and there were no problems!  Baby is looking good.  It was kicking her when she was trying to find the heartbeat… I think this will be a rebel child.

Last night nothing good was on TV before the Olympics so I went to Video on Demand and watched Run’s House.  They had an episode where the mom thinks the dog is jealous of the new baby so she goes and buys it some toys to spoil it.  At one point, they are on the couch, the baby is sleeping in her arms and she is petting the dog.  She stops petting the dog and rubs the babies back and the dog starts pawing at her arm.  (Keep in mind this dog is identical to Molly)  I can totally see her doing this!  It is so funny how much joy Molly and Lola bring Greg and I, I can’t even imagine a baby.  I am really glad we got dogs before children, because I have learned a lot about myself and Greg.  I still giggle sometimes that we have two sissy dogs and Greg loves every minute of it! 

Let me explain…… hahaha I can’t stop laughing as I type this!

Molly had an upset stomach Saturday night and wanted to go out a LOT!  I was so tired, and we had people sleeping on the couch so I felt really bad walking through so much.  So finally I thought, I am just going to let her out through the window! (It is about a 1.5 foot drop into a fenced in back yard)  I tried a few times, and I thought she was tensing up, come to find out…..  WE HAVE SCREENS ON OUR WINDOWS.  HAHAHAHA

I woke Greg up I was laughing so hard.  Sorry Molly…… mommy had a blond moment.
