Can’t even imagine
If I was going back to work after 6 weeks, today would be the day. I can’t even imagine! First of all, Macy isn’t sleeping through the night YET. Someone recommended the Moms on Call book to me, and it has a section on getting the baby on a schedule and sleeping through the night. They CLAIM if you stick with it for three days, she will be sleeping through the night! Last night was the first night, and she slept from 11-6! I had to go in and wake her up! I really like the book because it assured me that at the age she is, it’s okay for her to cry for a while, you just have to check on them every 10 minutes. She cried for 10 minutes, I went it, turned up the white noise and she stopped crying. About 45 minutes later she started squalling, and I could see from the monitor that she had squirmed out of her swaddle. I changed her diaper, re swaddled her and the rest is history! She is sleeping now! She still only eats about 3.75 ounces each feeding. I think part of the reason is because it has added rice starch and thickens up a lot.
I have worked out the last two days and I am starting to feel sore! I am going to try to go every day though! I have stopped drinking coke and BOY does that give me a headache. But, supposedly, cutting out coke will help drop the weight! I am all for that!
