Ahhh the weekend
Weekends don’t mean much to me anymore, mostly because I have no idea what day it is usually. Greg asked me today what the date was and I said, sometime in January, probably the beginning. Kinda close…
Saturday Greg and I met his parents at Einsteins for bagels. I was going to a Bridesmaids Luncheon in the afternoon so Mary took Macy shopping with her Aunt Lisha! I haven’t talked to Mary but I heard they had a great time. Th luncheon was at the Swan House and it was so nice. I love hanging out with my girls!
Side note, I couldn’t fit into any of my skirts so I was really pizzed and vowed to join a gym on Sunday. Afterwards, Sarah came home with me and we took a nap. We went to Rick and Steph’s new (and awesome!) house. They all wanted to go to Bottom of the Cup, but it is no place for babies so Macy and I headed home! It was kinda a late night, but Macy was a SUPER SLEEPER! (she gave me a 5 hour strech!- yippie!)
Sunday we woke up kinda late and cleaned up the house. We made a meal plan and (gasp) grocery list. Feeling motivated, we headed to Lifetime Fitness to see what the damage was gonna be. They upped their prices! $110 a month jeeeeeez… So we went to the YMCA, which I remember from when I was little, so that tells you how OLD it is. It looked old and smelled old and we couldn’t get out of ther fast enough. They should rename it the Y-U-C-K. I am so clever.
So we debated a bit, went to my parents to visit and off we were, back to Lifetime! I am determined to lose this weight. Even if I am miserable doing it! My Mom suggested doing Weight Watchers because it worked for her but… naaah…. I don’t like keeping up with points, how annoying.
Turns out we get a discount because we are under 26. And I work for the county (SCORE) Well duh dude how old do I look? I mean I know I had a baby but DANG!
We went to the grocery store and suprisingly only spent $75. It is amazing how much junk food costs, usually I walk outta there with $150 worth of junk.
My husband was (not surprisingly) amazing and cooked me dinner. Hamburger patty with no bread, some corn and two pieces of toast. He also lit some candles for me and drew me a bath. He said he knew I was stressed thinking about how we were going to fit ll this into our schedule, with trying to cook dinners and working out and me going back to work eventually. He’s so thoughtful. I’ll keep him!
Macy in in her bouncy chair now and I can hear the batteries slowing down. I need to wake her up and give her a bath! I am so glad she loves baths. Did I tell ya’ll yet that babies float? Wel, their torso, but not their heads! haha
See ya’ll tomorrow!

dang that lifetime place must be NICE for that much dough! Does that include a family membership? When are you going back to work? Keep all us readers out here posted on how the weight loss goes…my mom did W.W. and it really did work for her! I’m planning on Slim Fast mixed with lots of walking and maybe some yoga (never tried it but we’ll see) but who knows!
