Shower Details
What a great shower! We had so much fun, EVERYTHING was so perfect!
We had some great appetizers and drinks. Judy decorated the tables with fall colored mums and pretty candles. It was a little cold outside, but there were people on the back deck cooling off when it got to warm inside! We had the football game on of course!
These were the people there:
Jack & Judy Horne, Ashley Horne & her boyfriend Clay, Gregory & Dana Horne, Sharon & Justin Boggs, Shannon & Cheryl Copponex, Bobby & May Fister, Carol & Maryanne, Glen & Mary Copponex, Gina Copponex & Sarah Player, Larry & Terry Miller, Sarah Miller & Chelsie McIver, Laurie Crummer, Angela, Mark & Jace Sorrenti, Tracy, Jeanette, & Kailie Carswell, Bonnie, Llyod & Betty Dahler, Gene & Sis Clarke, Julie, Johnny & Jennifer Kolacki, Walter Miller, Vic & Cathey Hernandez, and Lance & Desiree Hempen.
We had a DELICIOUS meal, catered by Micks (haha Dana had on a Micks apron and my family thought they catered it!) It was so GOOD! We had chicken parmesan, spaghetti with a vodka marinara, garlic bread, and three different salads. There was a yellow cake with chocolate forsting, a red velvet cake (which I had, it was AWESOME) and several pies, I think they were banana cream, chocolate and something else maybe? I can’t remember!
I did remember the ultrasound pictures and it was funny to see who could make out anything on the most recent ones. They are so hard to tell!
Everyone was so generous, Baby C got some great gifts. Mom even got an awesome bag from Aunt Gina!!
After the party, Sarah, Chelsie, Lance & Justin came back to our house. I stayed up until 1:30 (Lance said that was a record) I was so excited, I put together the travel system, took everything out of the packages and put things where they were supposed to go. I had to wait for the video monitor until Sunday because it had to charge for 12-16 hours. I mounted it, and it works so well!! SO COOL! I couldn’t believe how easy it was to put together the travel system! No tools needed… which was good, because right now they are all in our backyard with Greg’s porch project. That is another post for another day!
Sunday I washed all the babies stuff in Dreft, including the PJ’s mom bought for us to wear in the hospital. Sunday night I layed in bed and started to get VERY anxious… It is getting very close, and I know we will NEVER be "ready" You can never be completely prepared for the arrival of a baby, I don’t think. All that is left is to PRAY for a healthy baby, an easy delivery and some more diapers. (HA!)
Love you all…. more pics later I promise!

Has it sunk in yet w/ Greg? I can’t wait for your shower here!!! Don’t forget to update your registry after your other showers so we can be sure to get you things you dont have yet. I’m praying for a healthy delivery and for baby biscuit to be healthy as well!
