Best Friends…. because our mothers couldn’t handle us as sisters!!

I am not feeling any of those things.  Wonder if that is normal?  Maybe I will be more nervous the closer it gets, but for now, no complaints!  The baby is boogey-ing as I type.  I think it’s hungry.  New favorite- Graham Crackers with peanut butter (Thanks to Megan!!!)  Somehow my alarm didn’t go off this morning, so I woke up a little late.  I was actually early but it is almost 11 and I still don’t have make up on… and don’t care….

Co-worker has a "man shower" today   He is a huge FL Gator fan so I got him an orange/ blue outfit.  I also got a cute onesie that says: New Around Here  I think it’s so cute.  Today is a pink day, I think baby is a girl.  That will probably change tomorrow   Anyone have any guesses?  I would love to know!!

Today I am 26 weeks, and baby is being compared to an English Hothouse Cucumber… whatever that is…  This is what the baby looks like… DANG IT’S BIG!!

I call the baby runningman… not because I think it is a boy, but thats how it feels most of the time… like an iPod commercial with the shadows jamming.

Biscuit…..That is what my coworkers call the baby….I eat a lot of biscuits.  I think it is funny.  Greg said, this baby is going to come out a fried pizza drenched in coke and I said well good thing you aren’t carrying the baby because it would be a chicken wing drenched in beer!  I am pretty sure this baby is better off with me…   In the past I have really craved coke, but I am starting to be turned off by it.  It tastes different!  That is a good thing I guess because I don’t need the caffeine! 

Last night I kind of freaked out when I weighed myself…  I know that is silly, but it is SO WEIRD to be the same weight for so long and suddenly, be a lot more!  It was the motivation I needed to make a chart to walk every night and eat more fruits/vegetables.  I have started to crave them more, but I am lazy in the washing/remembering to take them to work with me department.  I am still 1/2 asleep in the morning, but now that I have more energy at night, I need to utilize it!  Lately it has been raining… how lame would it be to start practicing walking with the stroller with nothing inside it??  Well, maybe I could put Lola in it?

Ahh I love the 2nd trimester.  Talk about energy!  This desk job is killing me, I want to do some jumping jacks or something.  Side note: (very random) when we switched computers we did not switch keyboards.  Has anyone ever used a dirty keyboard?!!  UGHHHH  GROSSSSSSSSSSS!  I spent about an hour popping off all the keys and wiping them down

All’s quiet on this front… no plans for Labor Day.  Hopefully just RELAXING!!

We went to Kroger Saturday night… I really wanted a cupcake… so I bought a few and brought them home.  Ate just one in the car.  Sunday night I decided I would like another.  I got half way through it and felt crawling on my hands…. ANTS!  I probably ate a few which freaked Greg out more than me…  "Will that hurt the baby??"  haha  They were all in my cupcakes…. jerks….  we have had pest control come two times this week but this sent me over the edge.  Those ants days are numbered.  And thanks cheap lazy neighbors who don’t have pest control obviously (our bug guy said they were coming from the yard next door   )

OOOOOO oooooo I wish it was Sunday.

Day is 1/2 over… thank goodness!  We finished the crown molding yesterday and tonight we will be painting and sanding it.  I am learning a lot about home improvement.  For example:  Touching up using flat white paint over glossy white paint does not look good…  Spackling for drywall is not the same as caulk… it is hard to get paint out of carpet…. and finally….  wait to pick caulk up off the floor AFTER it dries (it is easier )

We have had a lot of laughs working together in the evenings/weekends.  I found out this weekend how much Greg and his dad are alike…. oohhh boy what I have to look forward too

It’s Saturday morning here about 8:30 AM and Greg has run to Home Depot.  I barely slept last night (CAN’T GET COMFY!) and went to the bathroom 4 times!! haha  I’m just glad I make it and don’t DREAM I am already in the bathroom…. ahhh that would suck.

Yesterday we went to Home Depot and Walmart after work.  We picked up some paint and other household stuff (paper towels, laundry soap, TP…etc)  .  Greg said what we spent at Walmart could have bought him a bike and I told him he would have had to wipe his butt with his bike…. haha had to share i thought I was funny.   We came home and got right to painting.  It only took a few hours and I realized we CAN paint, we just can’t paint anything that isn’t four square walls with 8 foot ceilings!  Greg let me help, but only like this:

Saturday we attempted to put up crown molding… HA  that is really hard.  Gramps is coming over Sunday morning to help!

Saturday night we went to Lance and Desiree’s to eat dinner and we had a really nice chat around the outdoor fire.  The weather here is PERFECT… I can’t wait for cold weather!!!! 

I know it seems like the comments "aren’t working"  but they are, I am getting them!  I have to approve them, but don’t worry, they are posting.  Thank you for taking the time, it is cool to know people read!   And by the way, today was okay.  Hopefully this move is temporary, and the no-stress job may be what I need these last few months of pregnancy.  Pray for me!
