Goin’ to the beach…. goin’ to the beach!

Today is Wednesday and we leave Friday!  Just trying to make it through the days!

Feeling pretty good, not much of an appetite.

Considering I woke up Wednesday morning and thought it was FRIDAY….  I guess you could say I was ready for this weekend.  What a stressful week!  We went down to Suwanee last night and had hamburgers and hotdogs with Greg’s family.  It was good, thanks Gina!  We ate out on the porch and the weather was perfect. 

I took the dogs to Mom and Dad’s this morning because Glen and Mary are having a "Pirate Party" tonight to kick off the three day weekend.  I am going to party city on my lunch break and getting a patch!  arrrggggghhhh….

Tomorrow is Tyler’s graduation party which reminds me I have a lot to do!  Saturday night I am going to Big Canoe to hang out with family and hopefully spend some time at the pool.  I am sad I probably shouldn’t go down the rock slide…. hahaha

Honestly yesterday was a VERY cool day.  Very Very cool.  I am SO happy!  Everything went well.

Greg met me at the doctor’s office and he was not to thrilled.  There was a HUGE lady in the waiting room.  I hope she was having twins…  She was the kinds of pregnant that makes everyone uncomfortable, because her water could break on your shoes any minute….   haha

We went in, and I weighed a little less than last time (Probably because I have no appetite!)  Blood pressure was good and temp was 98!

Went into the waiting room and waited about 10 minutes.  The Nurse Midwife came in, and she was awesome!  That makes the second nice on I have had.  So 2 out of the 5 are great.  So far!

She answered a few questions, and told me all my lab results (which I already knew from the internet) and that everything looked great!  Then, what I wanted to hear "We didn’t get a good measurement of your due date last time, so let’s do another ultrasound."  YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That baby looked like a Mexican jumping bean in there!  It was floppin and hiding and waving and trying to suck it’s thumb (I don’t think it’s arm is long enough yet…)  It had 2 arms and 2 legs and this was the weird part…. when I was lookign at the screen it NEVER crossed my mind, oh, that is a boy or that is a girl…. I had no feelings whatsoever.  Greg said he was trying to peek… hahaha

We got to see it for about 10 minutes!  She took several pictures and I couldn’t stop giggling, which made it a little difficult to get a picture!

After that, we met Greg’s parents, sister and Aunt at Taco Mac in Suwanee.  Then we met Lance and Desiree at a house in preforclosure in Suwanee Station.  It was weird walking through someone else’s house when they didn’t know you were there…..:D

Came home and watched Bones.  I almost swore the show off forever when I thought Boothe was dead.  THEN I bawled because Zach was Gormagon’s apprentice.  I didn’t like that.  Bad move writers!  His character was so funny.  Then I kept crying which eventually became laughter because it was ridiculous.  HA!

God is so good!  I am ready tp be in my second trimester and not so queasy!

Greg left for Biloxi today.  Who is going to take care of me now?!  Actually, I think that means less work for me…

I feel really busy but I have no energy to do anything!   I don’t care!  There is a little baby growing in me!  God is so good!  We are working on a little miracle together!

Yesterday was both Mother’s Day and my birthday.  We had a lot of fun at my mom’s with a good meal and yummy cake.  We also told my family I was pregnant!   I feel very relieved that everyone knows now, and I don’t have to keep it a secret anymore! 

Saturday Mary Lisha and I went to lunch at Zaxby’s and headed up to Real Deals.  I bought an entertainment center(still in the back of the xterra) and a leather chair for the nursery!  Mary bought me a mirror for the foyer and it is beautiful!  That evening we had a wedding shower for Desiree and Lance.  It was a lot of fun!  The ribs were amazing… 

I almost didn’t come to work today I was so exhausted…  I can’t wait to take a nap!  It is only 9:00! hahaha.  this baby makes me soooo sleepy!

Desiree and I went and visited Ashley last night at Piedmont.  She is doing so well!  I can’t wait until she is 100%.  I am SERIOUSLY exhausted today like…. really dragging my feet and catching myself nodding off.  zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I told my coworkers yesterday!  I was 9 weeks and man I FEEL it.  I am so tired, it is NO JOKE!  I want to lie down right now so bad…  I am SO GLAD it is Friday!

And my pants don’t fit…..  booooooooo.  Not fastening your pants is a pretty dead give away that you are pregnant…. haha
